On the 7th of February 2018, Linkedin announced that they were removing the share count figure on their buttons, along with the API used to retrieve the counts.

BuzzSumo maintained the counts we had in our database through 30 March 2018, despite the fact that each new article we crawled showed a LinkedIn share count of 0.

However, it became unsustainable for us to continue displaying the counts as it was interfering with the health and accuracy of our data and analysis. 

We know this is disappointing and are actively looking into options and alternative solutions. We're hopeful to return this data in some form or another in the future.
