How to change the account owner of your team

Information on how to assign a new account owner of your BuzzSumo team.

The current account owner is the only person who can change this setting. 

If you are the account owner and wish to pass ownership to someone else on your team, please visit your Team page.

Use the drop-down menu next to the email address of the user you would like to promote.

If the current account owner is no longer able to access the account or has moved on from your company, please reach out to our Support team for assistance.
