Starting February 14th, 2023, we are changing BuzzSumo's plans and pricing.

What are the new plans and pricing?

You will have access to five plans instead of four, including:

Yearly cost (per month)

When is this change taking place and who for?

For new users and BuzzSumo's free plan users, the new prices, plus applicable taxes (ie. local taxes), will apply starting February 14th, 2023.

For existing users, including:

  • Customers

  • Trial users who began their free trial on or before February 13th, 2023

... legacy plans and pricing will be locked-in.

For example, if you are a user who began a free trial on February 13th, you will have the ability to purchase legacy plans for legacy prices until March 13th when your free trial ends.

For customers, you will have access to legacy plans and pricing for as long as you are subscribed to BuzzSumo. For example, if you pay for an annual plan, this will auto-renew with the same legacy plans and pricing, unless you decide to cancel or switch. At this point, you will only be able to access BuzzSumo's new plans and pricing.

What plan will I get access to on BuzzSumo's free trial?

Starting from February 14th, 2023, users will be trialling the Suite plan, with some minor limitations.

Your trial is limited to 50 searches.

What about BuzzSumo's free plan?

Starting February 14th, 2023, we have removed our free plan.

As mentioned, all users will still have access to a free trial – no strings attached!

What action do I need to take?

No further action is required on your part. You can manage your subscription any time in your account settings:

Why are plans changing and prices increasing?

We have added significant value to BuzzSumo over the years, and yet we have never fully updated our pricing.

Now, as costs are increasing across the business, and in the context of the current market, we are making this change to continue to be able to innovate and deliver the best possible product for our customers.
